The Anchored Framework

Disruption Shaped Into Meaningful Work

If you’ve been following along, this year has not gone as planned. Disruption has been more common than the exception. Yet in the middle of it all, there has been a purpose to the disruption. God’s been refining the kind of resources and support I can provide for Christian entrepreneurs. Resources that not only make you more productive but keep you rooted in Christ.

Earlier this year, I started recognizing themes around recurring challenges, or Storms, that throw Christian entrepreneurs off course, drain energy, and prevent them from making meaningful progress. The difficulty in addressing these Storms comes from our inability to recognize the Storm we face. We feel something is off but we can’t focus on it. When we do pinpoint what’s holding us back we often don’t know how to meaningfully improve it.

It’s no wonder that, 65% of the 20 million U.S. Christian entrepreneurs will shut their doors within 10 years. Often, these believers are burned out, spiritually adrift, and financially drained.

So, I began looking for ways to Anchor ourselves against these most frequent Storms. I have identified practices and truths that can keep us spiritually grounded and productive through them.

After years of coaching and research, I’ve consolidated what I’ve learned into a simple yet powerful tool: The Anchored Framework.

Introducing The Anchored Framework

The Anchored Framework identifies 7 common but harmful Storms that challenge your faith, drain energy, and slow your productivity. But it doesn’t stop there!

For each Storm, there’s an Anchor that roots you in Christ, provides rest, and supports the health of your business.

Storms Quiz

To help you use the Anchored Framework effectively, I’ve also created the Storms Quiz.

This quiz will quickly highlight the Storms holding you and your business back.

See where you stand by taking the Storms Quiz or come back to it after you check out the overview of the 7 Storms and their Anchors.

My Hope for the Anchored Framework

My hope is this framework gives you greater clarity around the Storms you’re facing and this clarity moves you to action.

Keep in mind, you’re not alone! Millions of other believing entrepreneurs around the world are faced with the same Storms. While the Storms are strong, there are practical ways to address them and help you make meaningful progress towards the visions you have for your business.

What’s Coming Next

In the coming months, I’ll be walking through each of the Storms and Anchors in detail, sharing practical resources to help you move from Unanchored to Anchored. You might notice a slight increase in the frequency of posts, but I promise to keep them meaningful not overwhelming.

Final Thoughts

I want to leave you with two verses that have carried me through my own storms:

“Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.”
— Romans 5:3–5

“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.”
— Ephesians 2:10

When these storms are tossing you back and forth, it can be easy to despair. When I am feeling beaten down by these storms, I am reminded that there is both a purpose to the hardship and that I was made for a purpose!

How beautifully Christ has changed our state!

It’s during these storms I feel the most worthless, yet Christ says I have worth.

When I feel there is no point to the pain, God reminds me that this pain is producing something good inside me.

I hope these verses encourage you in the midst of your storms this week!

May you stay Anchored In Christ!
