The Cross Calls Us to Action

The Anchored Entrepreneur

He Is Risen

Praise God for the grace He displayed by sending His Son to die on our behalf. This is the ultimate display of love. Jesus died a death He did not deserve, for a people who did not deserve it.

What Are We Celebrating?

We were separated from God by our sin. No number of our good deeds or sacrifices could ever pay enough to restore that relationship. We needed redemption.

Jesus' death paid the price for our sin. His resurrection secured our hope. The veil in the temple that once separated God from his people was torn, representing the access we now have to God. What was once lost in Eden has been restored through Christ. We are no longer separated from God but invited into His presence.

We were once slaves to sin. Now we have freedom in Christ. Not only were we redeemed but welcomed into God’s family as sons and daughters.

Our Lives Are No Longer Our Own

Because of this gift, we must remember: our lives are not our own.
It belongs to the One who redeemed us.

We now live with new identity and new responsibility.
We are not only saved from sin we are called into purpose.

Scripture reminds us:

“We are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” — Ephesians 2:10

Each of us has been uniquely placed and gifted to serve God where we are and for many of you, that includes your business.

Our Purpose

Easter is not just a time for remembrance. It’s a reminder of our purpose.

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” Matthew 28:19

Jesus has done the work. He is working still. And He will finish what He started. While we celebrate what has happened and look to the hope of his return, there are those who have yet to hear or accept the incredible gift that God has given us.

On Easter Sunday, people are more willing to hear the beautiful story of our savior.

I would ask you to consider who in your life needs to hear this story? This might be an opportunity to engage them on why we celebrate Easter.

Keep in mind, our calling goes beyond Sunday.

We are called not just to invite, but to disciple. This word is more more intentional and intimate. We dedicate our time and energy to teach and share the love that God has shown you.

Jesus Calls Us Back To Him

As we are challenged to call others to the cross we are also challenged to call ourselves.

Easter is a opportunity to repent and return to the one who has already done the work to save us.

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” — 1 John 1:9

A Conversation on Faith and Storms

I had the opportunity to have a conversation with Ed Kang, a 7x founder with 2 exits and Chief Strategy Officer at Startups.com about feeling disconnected from God. Check out a quick highlight from that discussion:
